Two dead in violence in Malda, 13 arrested

Kolkata, Nov 28 (UNI) The toll in a violent clash between two groups during a kangaroo court hearing over a land dispute in West Bengal's Malda district, has risen to two with one more death in the Malda Medical College and Hospital, official sources said today.
TMC activist Badsha Sheikh, who was admitted along with five others with multiple wounds, succumbed to his grievous injuries in the wee hours as he suffered loss of blood following cut in vital organs by sharp weapons duright the bloody clashes at Rajnagar in Kaliachak yesterday morning.
On Thursday, Trinamool Congress worker Ekramul Sheikh was lynched to death when clashes broke out during the kangaroo court, locally called it salishi sabha held by the leaders of the locality.
