NALCO’s QC team ‘Tejas’ wins prestigious gold award at ICQCC 2025

Bhubaneswar, Nov 7 (UNI) National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has brought laurels to the nation on the global stage.
The Quality Circle (QC) team ‘Tejas’ from NALCO’s Captive Power Plant, Angul, has bagged the Gold Award at the 50th International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) 2025, held in Taipei, Taiwan, from November 3 to 6.
Team Tejas presented an innovative project titled “Improvement in the Boiler Sealing System,” which resulted in significant annual cost savings for the company. The project highlights NALCO’s continued focus on efficiency, innovation, and sustainable operations.

Suvendu Adhikari moves Calcutta High Court; challenges Mamata’s Yuva Bharati probe panel

Kolkata, Dec 15 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari, on Monday moved the Calcutta High Court challenging the authority and competence of the state government appointed committee probing the fiasco at Yuva Bharati Krirangan during Lionel Messi's event on last Saturday.
Altogether two Public Interest Litigations (PILs) were filed before the High Court questioning the validity of the committee constituted by the Mamata Banerjee-led government.

Odisha increases stipends for PG students in Ayurvedic & Homeopathic colleges
