Jharkhand police officers honoured with union Home Minister’s medal for excellence 2025

Ranchi, Oct 31 (UNI) Several officers and personnel of the Jharkhand Police have been awarded the union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence 2025 in recognition of their exceptional courage and professional competence during a special anti-Naxal operation conducted in Bokaro district.
During the operation, the police team achieved a major success by neutralising five wanted Naxalites.
The prestigious medal, instituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, is conferred upon police personnel for outstanding performance in anti-Naxal operations, investigation, intelligence work, and forensic science.
