Bhuabenswar, July 6 (UNI) The first session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence from July 22 and continue till September 13, a notification issued by the state Assembly secretariat here on Saturday said.
The session will commence with the address of Governor Raghubar Das to the house on July 22.This will be the first session of the newly elected BJP government in the state.
The announcement for election to the Deputy Speaker post will be made on July 23.
The election to the Deputy Speaker post will be held on July 24.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi who is holding the Finance portfolio, will present the annual budget for the 2024-25 fiscal on July 25.
The general discussion on the budget will be taken up on July 29 .The session will continue till September 13 next.
