The third session of Mizoram Assembly to commence from August 20

Aizawl, July 11(UNI) The third session of the ninth Mizoram legislative Assembly is to commence from August 20, an order issued by the state assembly secretariat on Thursday said.
Officials of the state assembly secretariat said that the detailed calendar of the monsoon session, including the length and days of sitting as well as businesses to be conducted during the session will be chalked out by the meeting of the business advisory committee of the Assembly chaired by speaker Lalbiakzama and represented by all the legislature parties.
Political analysts predict that the coming session is most likely to be a stormy one as the seven-month-old ruling Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) government led by Chief Minister Lalduhoma will be facing a plethora of allegations and criticisms from the opposition.
