Third supplementary budget of Rs 11,187.14 crores for fiscal 2024-25 passed in Bihar assembly

Patna, Mar 10 (UNI) Third supplementary budget of Rs 11,187.14 crores for financial year ending on March 31, 2025 and related Bihar Appropriation Bill 2025 were passed in state assembly on Monday.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, also Finance Minister, while urging the House to pass third supplementary budget of Rs 11,187.14 crores, said that a number of schemes launched earlier were being executed but funds made available for the purpose were not sufficient to meet the expenses.
For example, the target of construction of houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna for Bihar, had been increased to 7,90,000 from 2,45,000, a hike of three times, he added.
