Arunachal: Honey Testing Lab opens at RGU boosting scientific apiculture

Itanagar, May 8 (UNI) A state-of-the-art Honey Testing Laboratory was inaugurated at the Department of Food Technology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh on Friday, marking a major step toward strengthening the beekeeping and honey-processing sector in Arunachal Pradesh.
The initiative is part of a comprehensive project funded by the National Bee Board (NBB) and implemented by NECTAR (North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach)⁠ in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University.
The inaugural programme commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and plaque unveiling, followed by a guided tour of the laboratory and demonstrations of advanced honey testing procedures.
