Odisha Dy CM orders DISCOMs to ensure uninterrupted power supply during summer

Bhubaneswar, May 5 (UNI) Odisha Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo on Tuesday directed power distribution companies (DISCOMs) to ensure uninterrupted and quality electricity supply across the state during the summer season and the upcoming Kalbaisakhi storms.
During a high-level review meeting on seasonal preparedness, Singh Deo stressed the importance of prompt consumer service and instructed DISCOMs to address all power-related complaints on an urgent basis within stipulated timelines.
He directed power utilities to use only quality materials and accessories for maintenance and restoration works to minimize recurring faults and improve the reliability of the electricity distribution system.
