Free hand to police to check crimes in Bihar: Dy CM

Patna, June 14 (UNI) In a major policy change, Bihar government has decided to give free hand to police to check crimes which empowers them to go for encounter and use of bulldozers.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said here that criminals would not be spared at all. Those found indulged in criminal activities would have to face serious consequences, he warned.
" We have decided to give free hand to police to check crimes which includes encounters and use of bulldozers to raze to ground the buildings of criminals", Sinha said adding that only motive of his government was to ensure safety and security of people of Bihar. Nitish Kumar government had succeeded in establishing rule of law in Bihar, he stated.
