Arunachal CM underscores governance reforms at DCs’ conference

Itanagar, Apr 9 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday stressed the need for efficient and accountable institutions to drive development, as the Deputy Commissioners’ Conference got underway in Tawang.
The two-day conference began with deep prajwalan, symbolising clarity of purpose and collective responsibility. In his address, the Chief Minister said that despite the importance of resources, education, and cultural heritage, meaningful progress can only be achieved through responsive governance systems.
Underscoring accountability, he said, “No level of investment or social progress can drive real development unless our systems and institutions are efficient, responsive, and accountable.”
