Amit Shah and Nitish Kumar flag off Amrit Bharat train 2.0

Sitamarhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today jointly flagged off the Amrit Bharat train connecting Sitamarhi and Delhi. The train will facilitate easy communication for the people of Sitamarhi, Bairgania, Raxaul, Sikta, Narkatiaganj, and Bagaha.
The Amrit Bharat weekly train will run from Sitamarhi to Delhi. This is the seventh Amrit Bharat train for Bihar, as per railway sources. Earlier, the country’s first Amrit Bharat trains were introduced between Darbhanga via Ayodhya to Anand Vihar Terminal and from Malda Town to Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal, Bengaluru.
Giving details of the Amrit Bharat train, the sources said the Saharsa–Mumbai Amrit Bharat Express was earlier flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April this year.
