Five devotees killed, Two injured as pickup van overturns in Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur, Aug 4 (UNI) As many as five devotees were killed and two others injured when a DJ pickup van overturned into a roadside ditch in Shahkund police station area in Bihar's Bhagalpur district.
District Magistrate Naval Kishore Chaudhary said that nine devotees were traveling in the pickup van after collecting holy water from Sultanganj.
"They were on their way to the Jyeshthanath Dham temple in Banka district when the vehicle came in contact with an electric wire lying across the road near Mahant Baba Sthan," Police official said.
