TMUS Launches Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad; Expands India GCC Footprint

Hyderabad, June 4 (UNI) TMUS Global Solutions (T-Mobile USA) today inaugurated its Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad, marking a major expansion of the company’s international technology footprint and reinforcing India’s role in global capability delivery.
The 2.5 lakh sq. ft. facility was inaugurated by Telangana IT, Electronics, Communications, Industries & Commerce Minister D. Sridhar Babu, who described the investment as validation of Hyderabad’s ability to deliver high-quality technology talent at scale. The Hyderabad centre will function as a strategic innovation hub for TMUS Global Solutions, supporting capabilities across software engineering, DevOps, product development, data analytics, cybersecurity and next-generation digital solutions. The company plans to scale operations to nearly 1,000 employees by 2027.
During the inauguration, state officials held discussions with company leadership on long-term expansion plans and Telangana’s growing role as a global hub for telecom technology and digital engineering.
TMUS Global Solutions Vice President for IT Operations Chandra Gupta said the Hyderabad facility aligns with the company’s long-term engineering and digital transformation priorities, citing the city’s talent ecosystem and innovation capabilities as key drivers for expansion.
T-Mobile USA, one of the largest wireless operators in the United States serving over 140 million customers, said the new centre will strengthen its global technology delivery network.
Sridhar Babu said Hyderabad, which hosts more than 450 global capability centres employing over 3,00,000 professionals, continues to attract multinational companies across sectors including telecom, life sciences, BFSI, retail and FMCG.
The addition of TMUS Global Solutions further strengthens Telangana’s positioning as a preferred destination for global technology and innovation hubs, the Minister added.
Senior officials from the state government, including IT Advisor Sai Krishna, also attended the event.
