Radico Khaitan Limited reports robust Q1 FY2025 performance

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) Radico Khaitan Limited, a major spirits manufacturer in India, announced a strong operational performance for the first quarter ending June 30, 2024.
The company highlighted significant growth in its premium segment and achieved record financial metrics.
In the first quarter of FY2025, Radico Khaitan reported a 14.3% year-on-year increase in volume for its Prestige & Above brands, reaching 2.73 million cases. The sales value for these brands grew by 19.1% to Rs. 499.5 crore. The total IMFL volume was 7.07 million cases, down 4.0% year-on-year. However, Prestige & Above brands now contribute 43.4% of IMFL volumes and 67.0% of the total sales value, up from 36.5% and 59.5%, respectively.
The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs. 148.2 crore, marking a 24.6% increase compared to the previous year. Total comprehensive income for the quarter was Rs. 75.7 crore, up 20.6% year-on-year.
Lalit Khaitan, Chairman and Managing Director, remarked, "During Q1 FY2025, we achieved strong premium volume growth despite a challenging operating environment. External factors such as lower consumption growth and volatile commodity prices did not deter us from delivering robust performance. We remain confident in the medium to long-term potential of the Indian IMFL sector and are well-positioned to seize forthcoming opportunities."
Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director, added, "FY2025 started positively with new launches including Rampur Asava, Sangam, and Jaisalmer Gold Edition. We aim to broaden the distribution of these premium brands and continue our focus on a curated portfolio. We expect stable raw material costs and anticipate maintaining our margin expansion trajectory."
Radico Khaitan, established in 1943, is one of India’s oldest and largest spirits manufacturers. Its brand portfolio includes Rampur Indian Single Malt Whiskies, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin, and various other premium and luxury spirits. The company operates distilleries in Rampur, Sitapur, and Aurangabad and is a leading exporter of alcoholic beverages.
