Polycab Net up 29 pc in Q4

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Polycab India Limited (PIL), manufacturer of Wires and Cables, on Friday reported 29 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 553.5 crore during Q4 (January-March) period of fiscal 2023-24 year-on-year basis.
The revenue from operations also grew 29 per cent at Rs 5,591.9 crore during the fourth quarter of 2023-24, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Inder T. Jaisinghani, Chairman and Managing Director, Polycab India Limited, said “The year gone by has been truly exceptional for our Company, marked by remarkable achievements fuelled by robust demand momentum.”
This resulted in the Company achieving its highest-ever revenues and profitability in its history. This outstanding performance is a direct result of our steadfast focus over the years on key areas such as expanding our distribution network, enhancing manufacturing capabilities, and striving for operational and organizational excellence, he added.
Full year (2023-24) net profit registered a growth of 41 per cent at Rs 1802.9 core on total revenue from operations at Rs 18039.4 crore, the company said.
