Investor Meet 2024 held at IIM Lucknow EIC

Noida, July 13 (UNI) The highly anticipated National Investor’s Meet 2024, hosted by the IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre (IIML EIC), took place at the esteemed IIM Lucknow Noida Campus.
Powered by Microsoft, the event aimed to provide a common platform for startup founders, investors, strategic, and corporate partners to interact and explore potential investment opportunities.
Suhail Sameer, Founder and Managing Partner of OTP Ventures, was the Keynote Speaker at the event, which saw active participation from IIML EIC’s strategic partners. Leading public sector undertakings (PSUs) such as ONGC, GAIL, HPCL, Oil India Limited, Balmer Lawrie, NIESBUD, and NABARD engaged in interactive discussions with all participants. Corporate partners from the country’s leading banks were also key attendees. Various leading Angel Networks and venture capital firms from across the country were present as active investors.
Prof. Ashish Dubey, Faculty-in-Charge, IIML EIC, stated, "The aim is to create a holistic ecosystem that will facilitate the creation of a new era of India by forging a conducive environment for investments, innovations, skill development, and the optimal utilisation of resources to build a strong and inclusive society that will be technologically advanced and will contribute to India’s subsequent growth story."
Event highlights included:
1. Over 15 IIML EIC portfolio startups pitched their innovative ideas and business models to corporate venture capitalists.
2. The launch of the ‘101 Startup Business Incubation Programme,’ which will provide support to more than 100 early-stage startups.
3. The introduction of the ‘Mediatech Acceleration Programme’ in collaboration with GraphisAds to support mediatech startups working in the domains of VR, adtech, media gamification, and automated journalism.
