Siva Prasad elected as Telangana CII Chairman for 2025-26

Hyderabad, Mar 8 (UNI) Sivaprasad Reddy Rachamallu, Managing Director, Rachamallu Forgings Private Limited has been elected as the Chairman of CII Telangana for the year 2025-26.
Sivaprasad is a 1st generation technocrat entrepreneur with over four decades of experience in Forging Industry, a release said here on Saturday.
His company is instrumental in indigenizing critical forging components for the Defence and Space departments of Government of India.
As a member of CII, he has taken various steps for the development of MSMEs, Defence & Aerospace industry.
As an alumnus of SVU College of Engineering, Tirupati, he has undertaken various development initiatives for the benefit of students on the college campus.

A passionate nature lover and actively involved in the activities of WWF (World Wildlife Fund for Nature) Telangana & AP as board member.
Goutham Reddy Mereddy, Vice Chairman, Re Sustainability Ltd. (Formerly Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd) has been elected as the Vice-Chairman of CII Telangana for the year 2025-26
MeReddy has initially worked as an environmental scientist at a state Government society – “Environment Protection Training and Research Institute – EPTRI” where he worked on research and consulting in various areas of environmental improvement and more specifically focused on Industrial Hazardous Waste and Municipal Solid Wastes.
Subsequently, MeReddy joined Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited, which subsequently has been renamed as Re Sustainability Limited.
At Re Sustainability, he has been part of growing the organization in the field of environment/ sustainability and waste management to making the company India’s largest environment/ waste management and one of Asia’s largest waste, with over 85 operating facilities located in more than 23 states in India and around 10 countries around the world.
Under MeReddy’s leadership, the company today handles over 7 Million Tonnes of waste per anum.
He also has to his credit establishing the largest integrated Waste to Energy Plants, by converting over a Million Tonnes of Wastes into about 100 MWH of power and exposure of infrastructure and real estate development.

Brent crude climbs above USD 86 for the first time since June

New Delhi, July 14 (UNI) Brent crude oil prices have climbed above $86 per barrel on Tuesday for the first time since June 12. This sharp rally as fresh geopolitical tensions in West Asia heightened concerns over oil supplies from the Persian Gulf.
The global benchmark was up nearly 10 per cent on Monday before extending gains by as much as 3.6 per cent on Tuesday.
