US based ModMed opens its first GCC in Hyd

Hyderabad, Feb 29 (UNI) Practice technology leader ModMed, a US-based company that develops all-in-one cloud solutions for multiple medical specialties, on Thursday announced the launch of its first Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad (Telangana state), India.
The state-of-the-art facility in HITEC City and Spread across around 20,000 sq. ft , ModMed aims to grow from its current strength of 100 employees to 200 by the end of this year and is actively recruiting across a range of positions in engineering, product development and support, the company said in a release here
Commenting on the launch, ModMed Co-Founder & CEO Daniel Cane said, “The city’s vibrant tech ecosystem and wealth of talent will help us continue our growth trajectory. We look forward to further contributing to the dynamic landscape of innovation and collaboration in this thriving hub.”
With more than 1,700 employees globally, including doctors, ModMed powers a medical specialty-specific cloud platform for allergy, dermatology, gastroenterology, OBGYN, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry and urology practices, as well as ambulatory surgery centers.
