Fanatics to double its technical workforce to 500 within next two years in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 27 (UNI) Fanatics, a leading global digital sports platform with 22,000 employees across more than 80 locations, on Thursday announced strengthening of its leadership, increasing in technical hiring and expanding its footprint within India.
As part of its global expansion and commitment to enhancing the fan experience, the company will double its technical workforce in Hyderabad from 250 to over 500 employees within the next two years, said Fanatics Interim Chief Technology Officer Matthias Spycher in a press conference here.
In 2018, the company opened its first technology innovation centre in Hyderabad as part of its commitment to growing its technology, data and analytics capabilities, he said.
In addition to the hiring growth, the company will move into a new large office space in Hi-Tech City by 2028 which will be three times the size of its current office space in the city, Spycher informed.
The company is committed to enhancing the fan experience and maximizing the presence and reach for its hundreds of sports partners globally by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics collectibles and Fanatics Betting and Gaming allowing sports fan to Buy, Bet and Collect, he added.
The recently appointed Vice President and General Manager Abhishek Dhasmana, said “ This expansion reinforces Fanatics’ commitment to Hyderabad as a strategic hub for technological advancement and growth”.
