PFC Q3 profit jumps 31 pc to Rs 5,829 crore

New Delhi, Feb 12 (UNI) State-run Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on Wednesday reported a 23.31% rise in consolidated net profit (attributable to owners of the company) to Rs 5,829 crore for the October-December quarter (Q3) of the current financial year 2024-25.
The company had posted a profit of Rs 4,727 crore in Q3 of the previous financial year 2023-24.
As per the company's stock exchange filing, its total revenue from operations during the December quarter of the current fiscal year stood at Rs 26,798 crore as against Rs 23,572 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, thus registering a growth of 14%.
PFC has announced a third interim dividend of Rs 3.50 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25 and set February 28, 2025, as the record date for ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders for dividend payment.
