Premji Invest-backed BVC unveils Rs 550 cr plant in Gujarat

Vadodra, Feb 25 (UNI) Best Value Chem Pvt Ltd. (BVC), a leading global manufacturer of fragrances, flavours, and personal care chemicals, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Rs 550 crore ($60 million) fully automated plant at Dahej in Gujarat.
Situated around 80 km from Vadodra, this facility marks BVC’s third manufacturing plant and a major milestone in its strategic expansion. In its initial phase, the plant will double production capacity to 10,000 metric tonnes per annum, with provisions for further expansion. Spanning 30 acres, the facility will provide employment to 300 people.
Equipped with advanced manufacturing capabilities, including hydrogenation, Grignard reactions, oxidation, distillation, and esterification, the plant is designed to cater to the rising global demand for BVC’s products.
Additionally, it houses a cutting-edge quality control facility, an effluent treatment plant, a wastewater recycling system, and an automated robotic warehouse.

BVC supplies over 50 products to the global flavours, fragrances, and personal care ingredients industry. The company has a presence in 30 countries and serves over 300 clients, including marquee names such as International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (IFF), DSM-Firmenich, Symrise AG, and Givaudan, along with several Indian export-oriented units.
