Coromandel Intl unveils Hi-Tech Polyhouse at R&D Farm in Telangana to Boost Agricultural Innovation

Hyderabad, Sep 30 (UNI) Coromandel International Limited, a leading agri-solutions provider in India, on Monday inaugurated a state-of-the-art Hi-Tech Polyhouse at its R&D farm in Shamirpet, Siddipet district, Telangana.
The new facility is set to enhance precision agriculture and accelerate new product development.
Equipped with the latest technology, the polyhouse will enable advanced field trials for innovative agri-inputs like nano fertilisers, biostimulants, liquid and coated fertilisers, and plant growth regulators. It also supports trials using hydroponics and soilless media, paving the way for precision nutrient management.
Over 100 high-net-worth farmers and channel partners attended the event, observing live demonstrations of advanced crop diagnostic tools and autonomous robotic farm machinery by X Machines, a company in which Coromandel has made a strategic investment.
Coromandel Managing Director and CEO Sankarasubramanian reiterated Coromandel’s commitment to supporting farmers through innovative solutions that improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The launch of the Hi-Tech Polyhouse signifies Coromandel’s vision to transform agriculture by integrating smart technologies and high-efficiency products.
Dignitaries from the Department of Horticulture, including former Commissioner M Venkat Ramireddy and Deputy Director Suvarna Devi, were also present on the occasion, a company statement said.
