MSME-backed Bakers Technology Fair records full booking at food expo

Bengaluru, Jan 12 (UNI) The robust growth momentum of India's bakery and allied food processing sector was underscored as the Bakers Technology Fair, supported by the Ministry of MSME under the PMS Scheme, achieved a complete sell-out well ahead of its opening at the Integrated Mega B2B Food and Drink Processing, India Dairy Processing, India Food Pack and India HoReCo Expo here.
Organisers Synergy Exposures & Events India Private Limited said all 60 subsidised MSME participation slots under the PMS Scheme have been fully booked, reflecting an overwhelming response from bakery machinery manufacturers, ingredient suppliers and allied-sector enterprises from across the country.
The Bakers Technology Fair is a key vertical of the Mega Integrated B2B Expo scheduled from January 20 to 22, 2026 at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.
The fair aims to provide MSMEs a national-level platform to showcase technologies, equipment and innovations to a focused audience of buyers, distributors, HoReCa operators and institutional purchasers.
Industry observers said the complete utilisation of government-supported MSME slots highlights growing confidence among small and medium enterprises, particularly in the bakery and food processing segments, which are witnessing rising demand from cafés, QSRs, cloud kitchens and organised retail.
Backed by the Ministry of MSME under the PMS Scheme, the initiative enables eligible MSMEs to participate in major B2B exhibitions with financial support, reducing entry barriers and accelerating market access.
Organisers noted that interest exceeded available capacity, underlining strong appetite for business expansion and technology adoption within the sector.
The broader expo will feature over 150 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 15,000 targeted trade visitors, including food and beverage manufacturers, HoReCa chains, bakery owners, distributors, e-commerce buyers and investors, with participation from over 35 countries.
Alongside the Bakers Technology Fair, the event will also host knowledge and skill-building programmes such as the Food & Beverage Synergy Summit, FICSI Skill India-certified training sessions and live bakery and café workshops, further strengthening its value proposition for MSMEs.
Entry to the expo is restricted to business visitors aged 18 years and above.
