APSEZ profit surges 14 pc to Rs 2,518 crore in Q3

New Delhi, Jan 30 (UNI) Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) on Thursday reported a 14% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,518 crore for the October-December quarter (Q3) of the current financial year 2024-25.
The Adani Group company had posted a profit of Rs 2,208 crore in Q3 of the previous financial year 2023-24.
APSEZ's revenue from operations during the December quarter of the current financial year grew 15% year-on-year to Rs 7,964 crore as compared to Rs 6,920 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The private port operator handled 113 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in Q3 of FY25, up 4% year-on-year.
APSEZ is the largest private port developer and operator in India, with 7 strategically located ports and terminals on the west coast (Mundra, Tuna Tekra & Berth 13 in Kandla, Dahej, and Hazira in Gujarat, Mormugao in Goa, Dighi in Maharashtra, and Vizhinjam in Kerala; and 8 ports and terminals on the east coast (Haldia in West Bengal, Dhamra and Gopalpur in Odisha, Gangavaram and Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Kattupalli and Ennore in Tamil Nadu, and Karaikal in Puducherry).
APSEZ clocked 332 MMT cargo volume in 9M FY25, led by growth in containers, liquids, gas, and dry bulk cargo.

Total exports from India rise 6 24 pc to USD 750 53 billion
