Newly wed couple found dead in UP's Kushinagar

Kushinagar, Jan 19 (UNI) A sensational incident came to light from Kushinagar district where the bodies of a newly married couple were found under suspicious circumstances, triggering panic in the area, officials confirmed on Monday. The incident occurred on Sunday night in Badhai Tola of Taryasujaan police station area.
According to police, Arun Sharma, a resident of Taryasujaan village, had married Neha, a resident of Barai Tola under Vishunpura police station area, through a love marriage a few months ago. On Sunday late at night, both were found dead inside their house. Neha's body was lying on the floor in a pool of blood with her throat slit using a sharp weapon, and cuts visible on her wrist. Arun's body was found on the bed.
Police suspect that Arun first murdered his wife and then commited suicide by hanging himself. It is alleged that Arun's family members brought his body down from the noose and fled the scene. Senior police officials, including the Additional SP, CO Tamkuhiraj, local police, and a forensic team, reached the spot and began an investigation. A case is being registered based on a complaint filed by Arun's stepmother.
