New Zealand supports AI development in business

Wellington, Sep 11 (UNI) The New Zealand government announced on Wednesday support to drive Artificial Intelligence (AI) uptake among New Zealand businesses.
The government also launched the pilot of GovGPT, part of a vision of a "digital front door" to facilitate businesses and people wishing to interact with government agencies, and make it easier to access reliable government information, said Science, Innovation and Technology Minister Judith Collins.
The potential of AI will be unlocked for New Zealand businesses through a range of support, including access to AI research experts, technical assistance, AI tools and resources, as well as options for funding and grants, Collins said.
