New Meghalaya Cricket Association apex Council takes charge, honours players & officials of distinction

Shillong, Jan 13 (UNI) A formal handing over ceremony was held today at the Meghalaya Cricket Association's conference hall in Polo here where the recently-elected Apex Council Members took charge.
The election was held last month and the new body has former cabinet minister of Meghalaya James PK Sangma as its President. Sangma is being supported by the new Vice-President Rajiv Bareh, while Rayonald Kharkamni returns as Honorary Secretary. The Honorary Joint Secretary is Mebanphira Swer, Honorary Treasurer Eddystone Shylla and Apex Council Member Chuba R Marak.
The members of the previous Apex Council were present, led by departing President Nababrata Bhattacharjee.
