New generation in J&K vows to live and die for Bharat Mata: LG Sinha

Srinagar, Aug 12 (UNI) Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today said a new generation, driven by unwavering devotion to the tricolour, is emerging in Jammu and Kashmir, with a single resolve to live and die for Maa Bharti.
He urged citizens to celebrate the country’s achievements while reflecting on their duties and pledging to build a modern, prosperous Jammu and Kashmir on the foundation of sacrifices of soldiers, paramilitary forces and police.
Sinha said this after flagging-off the “Tiranga Yatra” from Dal Lake in Srinagar and joined the walkathon from Lake to Botanical Garden. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also joined the Tiranga Yatra along with his cabinet colleagues. Lieutenant Governor said, “Tiranga is my Dharma. Tiranga is my strength. Tiranga is my heartbeat".
