New  BSF IG of Jammu Frontier briefs JK LG Sinha on security situation along IB

Jammu, Feb 14 (UNI) The newly appointed Border Security Force (BSF) Inspector General of Jammu Frontier Shashank Anand on Friday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan here.
An official comminique said that the IG BSF briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the security situation along the International Border (IB) and discussed various important issues of border security.
The Lieutenant Governor emphasized the need for constant alertness and synergy among various security agencies to effectively deal with any emergent situation in a coordinated manner.
