Nepal dengue cases hit 3,084

Kathmandu, Aug 11 (UNI) The number of dengue and cholera cases has surged in Nepal, with cholera being reported in only five districts, media reports said.
According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD) of the Ministry of Health and Population, the number of dengue patients reached 3,084 on Friday, with 722 new cases reported in the last four days, the Kathmandu Post reported.
The EDCD reported that mosquito-borne infection has spread throughout the country, except in Mustang, Dolpa, Jumla, and Humla districts.
