Neeraj Pandey is a complete, all-rounder director: Nandish Singh Sandhu

Mumbai, Jan 13 (UNI) Actor Nandish Singh Sandhu has shared insights into working with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey on the upcoming crime thriller series "Taskaree: The Smuggler's Web", describing the director as someone who brings rare clarity and depth to every aspect of storytelling.
Speaking about working with director Neeraj Pandey, best known for films like Baby, A Wednesday, Special OPS, and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Nandish shared, "What stands out is his preparation and research. The clarity with which he puts everything on paper is remarkable. He thinks deeply about every character, regardless of screen time. He never treats a role as small just because it appears less on screen. Every character has an in-depth journey. Technically, he is extremely sound and balances the script and emotions equally. That makes him a complete, all-round director."
Having earned acclaim for his performances in "Super 30" and "Jubilee", Nandish will next appear alongside Emraan Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Zoya Afroz, and Anurag Sinha in "Taskaree". While the film is being made by Raghav Jairath, Neeraj Pandey remains closely involved as its creative architect.
Addressing questions about character narration, Nandish revealed that the script itself offered remarkable clarity. everything so clearly that there was no need for a separate explanation. Since Raghav is directing the series, most of his interactions were with the director. Neeraj would be present during workshops and rehearsals and if he felt something needed tuning, be it a line, emotion or even voice modulation, he would step in with precise feedback. He was always overseeing the larger picture, from performances and emotional arcs to camera angles. His inputs were always sharp and to the point, reports Bollywood Hungama.
How was his experience working with Emraan Hashmi? He shared, "It was a brilliant experience. Every project gives you a chance to work with different actors, and with Emraan, it was genuinely fun. One thing I've mentioned before as well is that he doesn't carry the baggage of stardom on set, which is extremely important for any artist. He leaves all of that outside. When he's on the floor, he is completely in character, and that makes the process easier for everyone involved." UNI NST
