NDA set for landslide victory in Bihar: Today's Chanakya

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is poised to secure a landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, with a predicted 160 ± 12 seats, according to a projection by Today's Chanakya, a political research organisation. The RJD-led Mahagatbandhan alliance is expected to win 77 ± 12 seats, while other parties are likely to secure 6 ± 3 seats.
The analysis is based on a caste-wise breakdown of voter preferences, which shows the NDA leading among Brahmins, Baniyas, and Rajputs (63 percent), Scheduled Castes (58 percent), and OBCs and EBCs (55 percent). The RJD-led alliance is expected to dominate among Yadavs (67 percent) and Muslims (69 percent).
The vote share projections indicate that the NDA is likely to secure 44 percent ± 3 percent of the votes, while the RJD-led alliance is expected to get 38 percent ± 3percent. The margin of error for the seat projections is ± 12 seats for the NDA and RJD-led alliances, and ± 3 seats for other parties.
