Nawazuddin Siddiqui returns to theatre with 'Naqaab'; daughter Shora makes stage debut in Chicago

Chicago, Jul 19 (UNI) Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui made a celebrated return to the theatre after nearly two and a half decades as his latest stage production, "Naqaab", premiered to a sold-out audience in Chicago of US, where the opening performance concluded with a standing ovation.
Widely regarded as one of India's finest performers, Nawazuddin began his artistic journey in theatre before carving a distinguished career across cinema and streaming platforms. He shared this special occasion with his daughter, Shora, who entered the world of theatre through this production.
Shora, who shared the stage with Nawazuddin in "Naqaab," captivated the audience with her confidence and impressive stage presence. The father-daughter duo captured the audience's attention with their performance, becoming one of the most memorable highlights of opening night.
For the 52-year-old actor, who has proven his acting prowess in films and OTT platforms for over two decades, "Naqaab" is more than just a play, but a return to his early journey. Sharing the stage with his daughter made this comeback even more special.
