Monsoon withdraws from north India; rain likely in Haryana, Punjab from Oct 6

New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) The southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the remaining parts of north India, but Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi are likely to see a fresh spell of isolated to scattered rainfall from Oct 6 to 9, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday. The forecast marks a shift from largely dry conditions across the region.
