Heavy rain likely in Haryana, Chandigarh; northwest India to turn mainly dry from Sept 30: IMD

New Delhi, Sept 28 (UNI) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, while saying that most parts of northwest India were likely to experience mainly dry weather from September 30. In its evening All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin, the IMD said isolated to scattered rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, was likely over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh on September 28 and 29.
