Sonam Wangchuk warns of hunger strike, foot march if detained leaders not freed by Sunday

New Delhi, Oct10 (UNI) Ladakhi climate activist Sonam Wangchuk on Saturday warned that he may resort to a hunger strike or undertake a foot march if political leaders and protesters detained by Delhi Police during an anti-Election Commission demonstration are not released by Sunday. In a video message shared on social media, Wangchuk expressed concern over the detention of several leaders who had attempted to march towards Jantar Mantar to protest against alleged irregularities in the functioning of the Election Commission.
