Ghanshyam Dass Jain's birth centenary marked with Commemorative coin, postage stamp

New Delhi, Oct17 (UNI) A commemorative coin, postage stamp and archival volume featuring 101 handwritten compositions were released on Saturday to mark the birth centenary of renowned musician and philanthropist Sangeet Samrat Ghanshyam Dass Jain at the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav held at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre here. The three releases paid tribute to Jain (1925-1997), whose contributions to music, literature and social service were commemorated at the national cultural conclave organised by the Ghanshyam Dass Bhagya Devi Jain Trust in collaboration with several socio-cultural organisations.
