India continues to facilitate transport of life saving medicines to Iran amid ongoing West Asia conflict: MEA

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) India clarified today that it continues to facilitate the transport of life saving medicines to Iran, amid reports that Iran Air was unable to fly medicines into the country due to the refusal of flight permits for Iranian aircraft in India. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, in answer to claims that Iranian aircraft were denied airspace clearance, said: "We have and continue to facilitate transport of life saving medicines to Iran." He pointed out that the ongoing conflict in the region has "posed new challenges to the flight connectivity between our two countries"…
