Centre launches six-month bridge course for B.Ed primary teachers

New Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi, on Thursday, launched a six-month Certificate (Bridge) Course in Primary Teacher Education (PTE) for in-service primary school teachers holding B.Ed degrees, providing them a pathway to obtain the certification required to teach Classes I to V. The course, launched in New Delhi, will be implemented through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and is aimed at strengthening the pedagogical skills and competencies of teachers working at the foundational and primary stages.
