National security extends beyond borders, India adopts holistic approach to counter emerging threats: Rajnath

New Delhi, 24 Sep (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said India's national security doctrine can no longer be confined to protecting geographical borders, as emerging threats increasingly span drones, cyber warfare, lone-wolf attacks, disinformation, economic vulnerabilities and disruption of energy supply chains. Addressing a defence conclave here, Singh said the government had adopted a "holistic approach" to strengthen defence preparedness against an increasingly fluid security environment.
