CCEA raises Rabi MSPs, safflower gets highest hike of Rs 675 per quintal

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday approved higher Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for all six mandated Rabi crops for the 2027-28 marketing season, with safflower receiving the steepest increase of Rs 675 per quintal and rapeseed and mustard getting a hike of Rs 413, as the government sought to provide remunerative returns to farmers and encourage a shift towards pulses and oilseeds.
