Centre approves Sirsa postal division, shifts Jind to Sonipat from Nov 1

Sirsa/New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) The Department of Posts has approved a new postal division at Sirsa, the transfer of Jind district from Karnal to Sonipat Postal Division and the merger of Mahendergarh Postal Sub-Division with other sub-divisions under Bhiwani, effective November 1, with expenditure to be met entirely from existing funds. The restructuring of Haryana Postal Circle carries directions to increase revenue, improve expense coverage and review the financial and workload performance of the administrative units after one year.
