MARG 2026 calls for national mission to make urban roads safer, more accessible

New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) A two-day national convening on urban mobility has called for a dedicated national mission on urban roads, with a focus on improving road safety, accessibility, infrastructure quality and long-term maintenance across Indian cities. The recommendation emerged from MARG 2026 (Mobility for All - Reforms and Governance for India's Urban Roads), held on November 3 and 4 at the NCAER campus here.
