Delhi: Special winter pollution control restrictions take effect from Sunday

New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) As part of the Delhi government's intensified efforts to curb winter pollution, special restrictions will be in place in the national capital from November 1, with strict action for violations. As part of the curbs, vehicles registered outside Delhi will be barred from entering the national capital, unless they are BS-VI compliant, are EVs, or run on CNG. The move is going to affect lakhs of vehicles that are up to BS IV norms, and have a non- Delhi registration certificate.
