Rekha Gupta-led Delhi Cabinet clears DURGA scheme for 1,300 pink e-autos

New Delhi, Sept 23 (UNI) The Delhi Cabinet on Wednesday approved the 'DURGA' scheme to provide women and transgender persons opportunities to own and drive electric autos, with 1,300 pink e-autos proposed to be allocated in the first phase. Of the 1,300 vehicles, 1,170 will be earmarked for women and 130 for transgender beneficiaries, officials said. A maximum of 90 e-autos for women and 10 for transgender persons will be allocated in each revenue district.
