Nashik 'TCS' conversion case reaches Supreme Court; Petition terms it an 'act of terrorism'

Nashik, Apr 16 (UNI) The case involving an alleged conversion racket uncovered at the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) BPO center in Nashik has captured the attention of the entire nation. The matter has now reached the Supreme Court.
A petition regarding this issue has been filed in the Supreme Court, asserting that the incident has shaken the conscience of the nation and that such acts constitute acts of terrorism. Through this petition, the Court has also been requested to take immediate and stringent measures to curb illegal conversions.
A new petition—seeking suo motu cognizance—has been filed in the Supreme Court amidst ongoing hearings concerning conversion-related cases.
