NALCO signs MoU with NLCIL to boost thermal and renewable power projects

Bhubaneswar, Feb 14 (UNI) National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) to strengthen collaboration in its 1080 MW thermal captive power project and renewable energy development initiatives.
The MoU was signed on Saturday in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, in the presence of Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical) of NALCO, Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD of NLCIL, and other Directors of NLCIL.
The agreement aims to support NALCO’s captive and long-term power requirements while promoting sustainable energy solutions.
It also provides a structured framework to explore long-term power tie-ups and coal supply arrangements.
The partnership envisions joint project development in the future to further strengthen collaboration between the two companies.

Mumbai, March 10 (UNI) Adani Enterprises Limited informed the stock exchanges today that it has successfully acquired the remaining 49 per cent equity share capital and 100 pc optionally convertible redeemable preference shares of D P Jain TOT Toll Roads Private Limited (DPJ TOT) through its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Road Transport Limited (ARTL).

After LPG distributors announce suspension of distribution, NRAI asks restaurants to conserve energy

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) After the government invoked Essential Commodities Act on petroleum products, followed by All India LPG distributors announcing temporary suspension of distribution to non-essential consumers including hotels and restaurants, the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), the pan-India body of organised restaurant chains, has advised its member restaurants to adopt immediate fuel-conservation and operational measures.
