Nagpur violence: Situation under control;  curfew in several areas

Nagpur Mar 18 (UNI) The situation is under control, and a curfew is imposed in several parts of Nagpur, while no fresh incident of violence was reported after it broke out in the city on Monday following rumours that a holy book had been desecrated during a demonstration seeking the removal of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s tomb in Khuldabad, sources said here on Tuesday.
According to details, a curfew has been imposed in several parts of Nagpur after the violence broke out in the city on Monday.
While talking to media, person Ravinder Singhal, police commissioner, Nagpur, said that the situation is peaceful; however, police had imposed the restrictions on Monday night by invoking Section 163 (power to issue order in urgent cases of nuisance or apprehended danger) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

Maha: Rohit Pawar questions investigation into Ajit air crash, demands International probe

Mumbai, Feb 10 (UNI) Sharad Pawar-led NCP MLA, Rohit Pawar, today raised several questions about the January 28 air crash which killed late Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in Baramati, and said that either France's Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA), the UK government's Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) or the US government's (federal) National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) should investigate the incident, besides the investigations being conducted by Indian agencies.
