Nagpur blast: Owner and manager granted bail soon after arrest

Mumbai, June 14 (UNI) A local court in Nagpur on Friday granted bail to the owner and manager of the Maharashtra-based chemical factory where a blast occurred a day later, resulting in the deaths of six people.
Both of them, the owner and manager of Chamundi Explosive Private Limited, were arrested this morning by Nagpur police and produced before a magistrate court in Hingna, which granted them bail.
“Factory owner Jay Shivshankar Khemka and manager Sagar Deshmukh were arrested early on Friday, after which they were produced before court, where they were granted bail for the cash surety of Rs 50,000,” said an officer of the Hingna police station.
