Mumbai to introduce separate ready reckoner rates for high-rises and slums

Mumbai, June 11 ( UNI) The Maharashtra government has decided to introduce separate Ready Reckoner (RR) rates for residents living in high-rise buildings and slum settlements in Mumbai.
The new system will also classify RR rates based on the availability of infrastructure and amenities in specific localities.
The decision is part of a comprehensive micro-zoning survey being undertaken across the state on the instructions of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. For Mumbai, the government has appointed the Maharashtra Remote Sensing Application Centre to conduct the survey.

Mumbai: Body of 30-yr-old man found in Malad police suspect vehicular hit

Mumbai, July 13 (UNI) A 30-year-old man was found dead under the Times of India Bridge in the Malad area of city subarb with Dindoshi Police launching a probe into suspected hit-and-run.
According to Dindoshi Police, the deceased has been identified as Suresh Salunkhe. His body was discovered around midnight on Monday near the bridge in the eastern part of Malad.
